Turning text or other elements into links is easy enough on SiteBuilder, however it is also possible to go a step further and embed elements of a webpage or app on a SiteBuilder website, in this article we are specifically looking at videos from YouTube and other video sites.

YouTube is really easy, simply copy the URL of the video then on the SiteBuilder Editor, click Add on the sidebar, then click Video, now a video will be locked to the mouse cursor ready to be dropped somewhere on your web page.

Once you have placed the video where you desire on your webpage click the Change Video button on the tools palette. Now you will be prompted for a link to a different YouTube video, paste in the one copied from YouTube initially.

The video will then be available on your webpage for visitors to play, you can resize the video to any size you wish, please note though that quality may be lost if you make the player particularly large. On the Tools palette, within Settings, it is possible to set YouTube videos to auto play, when a visitor first opens the page, and also options to play the video in a loop.

Embedding videos from DailyMotion, Vimeo or other video websites is also possible. Most video sites will provide some HTML code you can embed on your website. Copy and paste this code on the video you want on your webpage, go to the SiteBuilder editor, click Add, then click Widgets, then click Embed HTML. Now a HTML box will be locked to the mouse cursor ready to be dropped somewhere on your web page. Once dropped in your desired location click the Insert HTML link on the box itself and paste your HTML code from your video site.

The video will then be embedded in the box and you can resize the box to fit the video.
